iPhone 4 won't ring on incoming calls...

Unfortunately, since the last update now in order for my iPhone 4 to ring incoming calls i must keep the phone and the app completely open in order for it to ring. That defeats the purpose. I sincerely hope that these issues are being looked at since we are paying customers. I've done all the usual things on my end regarding uninstalling/installing app, checking router etc and by process of elimination it seems to be within the update.

The app is great except for a few major details:
1. You can't join a voice call that is already in progress. The leader of the call has to specifically call you.
2. Voice calls constantly drop with stable 3G
3. In voice calls there is no way to add a third person from your device.

I love the app and am willing to tolerate the advertisements, but it seems that my screen goes dark occasionally, on Skype only, but is still active. This is a very annoying bug if you are trying to chat with people, because it seems to go dark whenever you hide the typing box.
