APP UPDATE UNSUCCESSFUL

I REALLY like this Walgreens app, it's multifunctional and it's incredibly handy. However, for almost two months now my app won't launch. I constantly check for updates. I was excited when I noticed there was a new update today, but still my app in non functional. I REALLY would like to utilize this program but the odds are not in my favor. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
